OOTD: Pink Hair + Burgundy Stripes

Hi there,

I hope you are all well and had a fun week. Mine was full of work but I still managed to finally dye my hair PINK! It's only temporary though, so I'll have to re-do it after a few washes if I want it to stay that bright. I have to thank my lovely friend Anna for doing most of the work though...and for convincing me throughout the whole process that it's going to look good afterwards...the "Hugos" we had may have helped too.  :)
For all of you who don't know what a Hugo is, it's a delicious summery drink consisting of elderflower syrup, prosecco (or white wine+mineral water), mint leaves and lemon or lime juice. If you serve it in a big wine glass with some ice cubes it makes the perfect girls' night drink and it looks very sophisticated even though it's so simple.

The dye I used is called "Carnation Pink" by the brand "Directions", the dyeing process was quite easy but I'll let you know how long it stayed in my hair.

Now on to the Outfit, I got the shirt a while ago but only yesterday I felt like styling it, and it was fun to choose an outfit for my new haircolor. Also I love how the lipstick goes with the burgundy stripes of the shirt, the whole outfit made me feel kind of badass...haha

1.) Mood? Well, since I'm at work it could be better but the weather is really nice out and it's only about 3 more hours, so that's not too bad=> happy

2.) What was your favorite subject in school? I'll have to go with English, it's such a fun language and I loved my teacher, she was really nice and just good at her job.

3.) Current nail polish? OPI's "Thanks a Windmillion" on my hands and on my toes I'm wearing a flamingo-y pink

4.) What is your dream vacation? I'd love to take a year-long trip around the world!

5.) Current outfit? Gray tie-dye dress, black leggins, gray loose knitted cardi, neon accessories

6.) What is your favorite color? It used to be red and it kinda still is but when it comes to clothes it's black and gray

7.) Do you wear glasses/contacts? Currently not, but my doctor said I might need to in the near future.

8.) Do you keep make-up in your handbag? Not really, just chapstick.

OOTD: Ice-cream colors and Shakespeare

Hello Beauties!

I hope you are all well and that you had a lovely weekend, because mine was great! We went to a friends' house on Saturday to have a BBQ, some drinks and loads of boardgames, which was so much fun. On Sunday our families and some more friends joined us there to go see Shakespeare's "As You Like It" at  a beautiful old castle and it was amazing. I always love Shakespeare's comedies and this one was no exception. :)
As for my OOTD, it's what I was wearing on Friday to dinner at my boyfriend's mother's garden to celebrate her mother's birthday, which was a wonderful start into a perfect weekend.

Rome Beauty Haul and more! :)

Hey Guys,

I am terribly sorry for taking this two week break from blogging but I've been on vacation in Italy and there wasn't even any reception on my phone so unfortunately I couldn't update the Blog.  :(
But I wasn't lazy (okay I was a bit but not only) and we went to Bella Roma for a day-trip and there I've done some serious beauty shopping.  :)
I'm also really excited that I finally got my hands on a NAKED PALETTE!!!
You have to understand that there's no store in Austria that's selling Urban Decay products, so when I stumbled upon a Sephora in the heart of Rome I knew it was time to get it. Especially because I thought about ordering it online only a few weeks ago but it would have been sooo much more expensive, so YAY!

OOTN - Mint&Gold

Well hello everyone!

My boyfriend and I went out with some friends last night and I have to admit that I really liked my outfit so after returning home, we quickly ran upstairs got the camera and snapped a few picks of the look.
It was actually a lot of fun especially cause I got to pose in the middle of the street! :)
Going out was great too, the weather was so beautiful and we got to sit directly at the bank of the Danube, sipping on the first Caipirinha of the year (my all-time favorite cocktail), all in all I had the perfect Saturday night.

OOTD Budapest Edition

Okay...Now I am really sorry about taking so long to put up a new post but last week has been very stressful. On the weekend it was my boyfriend's birthday and on tuesday I surprised him with a day trip to Budapest, hence the post title! :)
Even though it was a great trip it was almost too hot to enjoy, it was at least 35° Celcius if not 40°! I also did some shopping, so I'll be doing a little collective haul very soon. :)
And for he past two days I was a sick little baby (I blame the air-con on the train for that!!!) so today after work was really the first time I even got to look at the pictures taken for this post.

Obsessions

Looks like I'm on a roll when it comes to post ideas! :)
I've been obsessed with Rebecca Minkoff for a while now, especially her bags make me weak and now there are two more reasons for that addiction.

Sunset at the Countryside

My lovely boyfriend and I visited my parents at our country-house to have a family barbecue and even though it rained quite heavily in the afternoon, we caught this beautiful sunset on our ride home. I don't think that the pictures are doing it justice because the colors we're just breathtaking. So I decided to make a quick stop and take some pictures because I really liked my OOTD anyway, especially my brand new Aldo wedges. :)

So over the past few weeks I've tried to accumulate all the pieces to "build" a perfect spring wardrobe, from head to toe, including shoes and accessories. DIY Jeans & a pop of color

I wore this outfit yesterday to a flea market a friend of mine worked at, I was able to snatch up a really cute flower embroidered coin purse that my grand-mother would love.

I'm really proud of how the Jeans turned out because I did the acid wash and all the roughing up myself and now they look like there are clouds all over it! :)

On my nails I went for an ombre effect with different tones of orange including the neon orange from American Apparel, which I totally love.
